Computer Forensics

Computer Forensics is the collection, preservation, analysis, and presentation of computer-related evidence. Computer evidence can be useful in criminal cases, civil disputes, and human resources/employment proceedings.

Experienced Computer Investigators work with highly sophisticated tools, many of which are not available for general release. These tools will quickly identify the required information in mere seconds. Word searching and text recognition technology combined with the experience of an investigator soon close down the hunt. With the right tools, an entire computer can be searched for specific words or characters. This search will reveal every occurrence of these words or characters, even if the data was deleted by the criminal to cover his tracks.

Far more information is retained on a computer than most people realize. It's also more difficult to completely remove information than is generally thought. For these reasons (and many more), computer forensics can often find evidence of, or even completely recover, lost or deleted information, even if it was intentionally deleted.

We recover saved, deleted, or erased files, and identify incidents of cyber: Harassment, Stalking, Terrorism, Theft, and Internet activitiesMany people think when they delete the file (aka evidence) that it is gone and unable to be retrieved; however, 95% of the time we are able to recover the deleted file and email.
